Directions:

From Penrith : Follow the A66 towards Cockermouth, then take the A594 to Maryport. Turn right onto the A596 for half a mile before bearing left onto the B5300 heading towards Allonby.

From Carlisle : Follow signs for Workington (A595/A596). At Thursby roundabout take the A596 for Wigton. Do not go into Wigton itself, but turn right onto the B5302 to Silloth. At Silloth turn left onto the B5300, heading along the coast, to Allonby.

Once at Allonby the cottages are situated roughly in the middle of the village. The courtyard is clearly sign posted, set back slightly from the road.
